How to Draw Reptiles

1. Color the body in light blue

Add a transparent blue layer.

2. Color the tail in light green

Add a light green background layer for the tail.

3. Color in grey the caudal fin and the gills

Add a transparent layer of grey.

4. Add dark blue shadows

Color on top of the blue layer on the body.

5. Add dark grey shadows

Color on top of the light grey layer on the fins and gills.

6. Add the dark blue and grey spots on the body

Vary the size of the spots to create texture.

7. Add final touches

Smooth the colors by coloring on top with a white pencil. Add black shadows on the edges. Finalize with a few reflects using a white or ivory Poska pen.
